June ’21 Wrap Up

June was a weird month. On the one hand, I did pretty well with my TBR and finally read a book I’ve been dying to read for a while! On the other hand, life has been hectic. I’m planning my wedding, trying to spruce up my house so we can have guests come over and enjoy the space, and all the while I’m trying to write, and work, and read, and ah! It’s a lot lol

So my apologies for the down time I had in May and beginning of June. I think I’m finally getting back on track and I think it shows based off how much I read! Review: Ruinsong

This book took me by surprise because while I was expecting a dark fantasy, wow some of these scenes were pretty intense. I mean, like torture intense. It definitely was not what I expected but it was still pretty good! I originally got an e-ARC of this book wayyyy back, but then eventually bought a physical copy, which is what I will be reviewing today!

Review: Heartbreakers and Fakers

This – this is the summer book I was dying to read. This is the enemies-to-lovers, fake dating, YA romance that I was looking forward to and I loved it! I read this in one sitting yesterday because I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait to read more from this author and you should definitely pick it up if you’re looking for a great summer romance read!

Review: Better Together

My friend Alexa over at Writing the Universe somehow managed to get an extra ARC of Better Together from Wednesday Books and she was kind enough to give me her extra copy (thank you!). We ended up somewhat buddy reading this book together and um… it was interesting. Definitely interesting.
