Hey everyone! I hope you had a fun, spooky Halloween (I know I did) with lots of ghouls and candy!
It’s been a while since I’ve done a post other than a blog tour post/spotlight or quick review, but I’m back today with my October 2021 wrap up! With some extra free time, I managed to get through a good amount of books, though I fell into a bit of a slump at the end of the month. Thankfully, my November required reading is much shorter than October, so I’m sure I’ll be able to get to the books I need to and the books I want!
I’m not sure if this is the end of my semi-hiatus, but I wanted to share what I read in October. So here’s my wrap up for this month!

Eleven books read this month – that’s pretty average! I think I tend to read twelve usually, but I was only about 10% through my current read by the time the clock struck 12:00AM on November 1st, so I can’t count it towards October. Boo . . .
As you can probably tell, I definitely fell into a slump at the end of the month. It took me forever to read Kingdom of the Cursed, one: because it was so good I didn’t want to finish it and, two: my friend Alexa was raging about the ending and I was scared to finish it . . . Thanks Alexa! I am a little disappointed I ended up DNFing two books too, but honestly, Briarheart was really, really bad and I clearly don’t like Hannah Capin’s writing because I didn’t like Foul is Fair either. Though I feel like if I really pushed myself I could have finished I Am Margaret Moore – but I don’t really want to lol
Feel free to check out all the books with review links if you want to know more of my thoughts! I hope to post reviews for the other remaining four books soon, so keep an eye out for that!
