July ’21 Mid-Month Update

Another month, another mid-month update! July has been a pretty good month reading wise, but not just in how much I’ve read, but the books themselves. It’s rare that I have a month with no DNFs or low ratings, so to have so many amazing books read in July is really lucky. I’m hoping this good luck continues!

This month has been amazing! All five books I read were either 4.5 or 5 stars and I am in love with all of these stories! I’m hoping this trend continues for the rest of the books I want to read this month – I’ll probably finish all of them if that’s the case!

I’m currently reading Curses by Lish McBride and it’s good, not a favorite, but good. I’m probably going to finish it today and will hopefully have my review up soon, if you’re interested in checking that out. Once I finished Curses, I’m stuck between reading They’ll Never Catch Us or A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire. I feel like switching up the genre would be nice, especially since I would have read five fantasy books in a row. A thriller would be a nice change of pace (haha get it? pace? like running?) – so maybe that’s what I’ll read. And then I can get into more fantasy books.

What are some books you’ve enjoyed this month? Any books you’re looking forward to reading in July?

If you want to check out my reviews for some of the books I’ve read this month, feel free to click on the links down below!

The Taking of Jake Livingston by Ryan Douglass

These Hollow Vows by Lexi Ryan

The Dragon and the Queen by Kaitlyn Davis

The other two books are blog tours, so their reviews will be posted next week! Be sure to check them out once they get posted!
