PENGUIN TEEN USED MY REVIEW!

As a Penguin Teen Influencer, I get access to e-ARCs of their upcoming titles and because of that, sometimes they’ll ask if they can use part of my review in their promotion for the book. I’ve had one of my quotes used before for House of Hollow by Krystal Sutherland and now, another one has been used for The Taking of Jake Livingston by Ryan Douglass!!!!

My review hasn’t been published for this book yet, because while I received the title from Penguin Teen, I signed up to participate in a blog tour for TBR & Beyond Tours. My post date is July 14th and I am posting my spoiler-free review and favorite quotes from the book!

Penguin Teen used a snippet from my review for their fan assets (with my expressed permission) and look how cool these are!!!

The Taking of Jake Livingston Instagram Post

This is the one for Instagram. And the one below is for Twitter!

The Taking of Jake Livingston Twitter Post

LOOK HOW COOL THESE ARE!!! While it’s the same quote, I do have a different user name for my Twitter and Instagram and I love that they made one that could be shared for both! Like, LOOK HOW COOL THESE ARE!!!

I’m clearly freaking out. It’s not often that my words are seen by people other than my own followers, much less used by a publisher to help promote a book! Which, by the way, you should DEFINITELY read if you like horror! I wasn’t kidding when I said I gasped in horror – this book is really spooky and was really intense.

But you can also read my full review to get all my thoughts and some of my favorite spoiler-free quotes on July 14th!
