June ’21 Mid-Month Update

We’re already halfway through June and that means it’s time for a mid-month update! Time has been flying by and I feel a little behind on my TBR, but I’m hoping to have some time to catch up this week. I managed to read two books while on vacation and while I would have loved to read more, I’m pretty happy with what I’ve read honestly. It was a good balance between spending time with my family and having time to myself to relax.

With that being said, here’s what I’ve managed to read, what I’m currently reading, and what I want to read for the rest of June.

While I’m a bit behind on my TBR, I’m just happy that I’ve been reading. The past few months have been really stressful and it makes it really hard to find time to read, so the fact that any reading is getting done is amazing.I’m more than halfway finished with Girls at the Edge of the World and just starting Daughter of Sparta, so I’m hoping those will get finished before the end of the week.

And as usual, the last three books always get carried over into the next month. I swear I’m going to read them, I will. I don’t want to keep carrying them over into future months, but that’s just kinda what’s been happening. If I can make it through these next few books, at least one of these will get taken off the list! Hopefully…

How’s your reading going this month? Any books you’re excited to get to? I can’t wait to read The Cruelest Mercy by Natalie Mae! I loved The Kinder Poison and after that ending, I need to know what happens next!!!

If you want to check out my reviews for the three most recent books I’ve read, you can check them out here:

Better Together by Christine Riccio
The Nature of Witches by Rachel Griffin
Heartbreakers and Fakers by Cameron Lund
