This – this is the summer book I was dying to read. This is the enemies-to-lovers, fake dating, YA romance that I was looking forward to and I loved it! I read this in one sitting yesterday because I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait to read more from this author and you should definitely pick it up if you’re looking for a great summer romance read!
I have seen so many positive reviews and hype around this book, I couldn’t wait to dive in! It was hyped up, it was the first book I picked up during my vacation and I was so excited to read it. While I did like it, it definitely didn’t live up to the hype I was seeing about it and I’m actually kind of disappointed.
I’m on vacation this week at the beach, and it’s always the best when you have that perfect summer book to go along with your beach vacation. Here are some great books for your perfect beach vacation and some great summer books in general!
My friend Alexa over at Writing the Universe somehow managed to get an extra ARC of Better Together from Wednesday Books and she was kind enough to give me her extra copy (thank you!). We ended up somewhat buddy reading this book together and um… it was interesting. Definitely interesting.
I’m going to link her review as well, since she has some strong opinions about this book too.
Okay, I’m a little dramatic – but I would actually LOVE to read these books right now! And if I could get a physical ARC of any of these titles, I would actually cry.
So here’s what I am dying to read and I’m anxiously watching Netgalley to see if I can read them right now.
May was a tough month for me. Not only did I manage to get through an entire move, but I got through two moves in the span of a week. My time has been primarily devoted to getting our new home set up, which meant that reading and blogging were put on the back burner. Thankfully, I still managed to get some reading done this month and I’m finally out of my reading slump! Woo hoo!
While I didn’t get through much, here’s what I read in May.
I LOVE historical fantasies, along the lines of The Diviners, and this one was so good! A gender-bent Indiana Jones set in the 1920’s? SIGN ME UP!
