WWW Wednesday (5/19/21)

Well, I moved! I’m finally moved in and while I’m still unpacking, it’s now mostly boxes and some remaining things to get in. With moving week, I did not get any reading done. I was really hoping I could get through at least one book, but no. I got about 30% in to one book, but that was it before the chaos began. Anyways, here’s a reading update for this past week!

WWW Wednesday’s is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words, and all it involves is answering three simple questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

So far, I’m really enjoying Curse of the Spector Queen! It’s a historical fantasy, set in the 1920’s and it is so good. We have an introverted bookworm who loves puzzles, a scholar love interest who loves history and ancient languages/civilizations, and the scholar’s flapper sister and bookworm’s best friend, who’s also a kleptomaniac. Love love love the characters so far and where the story is going! I can’t wait to read more.

I’m also hoping to start Better Together soon, but I might wait until I finish Spector Queen, because that book is so good so far! I haven’t seen a lot of review for Better Together, so I don’t have any pre-set hopes or judgements, except that I hope it’s good.

What are you currently reading? Any good books you’ve recently finished or are looking forward to starting?
