I’m about halfway through this book right now and absolutely love it! It’s the companion novel to Thorn, which you absolutely should read and I’ll link my review here. I’m so happy I’m back in this world and with these characters, it feels like coming home.

I was not a fan of this book. It wasn’t as good as the first book, Havenfall, and I just had a lot of problems with it. That might also be why I haven’t finished a book in ten days too. It was so disappointing to love the first book and then have this one flop immediately after.

This book has been sitting in my purse for the past week and I can’t wait to pick it up after The Theft of Sunlight. I know once I can get through another book, I’m going to be reading so much again. Hopefully the stress won’t put me in a horrible slump!
