Life has been awful for me recently. My brother in law got into a car accident and totaled his car. He’s pretty beat up from it too and has been to the hospital twice. My aunt has COVID and I’m freaking out. My fiance, his family, and I had a COVID scare last week too. Meanwhile, we’re house hunting which is emotionally exhausting and my poor heart can’t take it anymore.
It’s been a doozy.
So I’m keeping it light here with what I’m currently reading and watching!
Reading
I’m currently reading all of these books, one for a book tour, one for a buddy read, and another is a NetGalley book. I’m about 50% through both Unchosen and Before the Devil Breaks You and loving them. I’m almost 20% through The Ruthless Lady’s Guide to Wizardry, but I’m hoping on reading more today. Once these are done, I have to quickly read Wench for a blog tour which is stressful. I have a week to read it and I haven’t even started … yay.
Watching
When my fiancee isn’t playing WOW (World of Warcraft), we like to watch animes and shows together. We’re STILL watching Naruto, which is so frustrating. He just doesn’t want to watch anymore but still wants to watch. It’s so annoying. If I could, I would just watch it on my own, but no, he wants to watch with me – except he never wants to watch it! We’ve also started watching One Punch Man together which is hilarious. It always gets me in a good mood. And then on my own time, I like to watch episodes of Adventure Time because it’s so cute and the episodes are short and sweet.
I like to break up my day with reading, journaling, watching YouTube or TV, and working out. Cycling between those things really helps make my day that much better, especially during this stressful time.
