Hey everyone! I have some exciting news and I wanted to let you know what’s going on in my life. Plus, gotta keep it bookish – so here’s what I’m currently reading!

So, I wanted to let you guys knows that I GOT ENGAGED!

I have been with my fiance for 5 years and it was such a sweet, homely proposal! He even secretly filmed it which I usually hate, but ended up LOVING that he did that. He got me a beautiful ring, pictured below, and I am so shocked and happy!!!

My fingers are chubby, which I’m a bit self conscious about, but the ring first perfectly and it’s exactly what I wanted! I’m so excited to get married to my best friend and I can’t wait for our wedding in (hopefully) two years!

And of course, my birthday is TOMORROW, so this was an amazing birthday present for me!

Besides getting engaged and having my birthday tomorrow, I’ve been behind on reading so bad. I’m hoping to finish A Universe of Wishes and have 25% of Soulswift read by tonight, so keep your fingers crossed for me!

After finishing A Universe of Wishes edited by Dhonielle Clayton, I think I’m going to start A Vow So Bold and Deadly by Brigid Kemmerer. I still can’t believe I got an ARC of that book and can’t wait to start reading it! Once I finish Soulswift, I’m reading Rebel Sisters by Tochi Onyebuchi which I’m so excited for!!

My December TBR will be up soon, and I have some books I need to catch up on. Hopefully I have plenty of time to read them, especially with the holiday’s, so wish me luck! I need to just binge read some books so I have time to get through all of them lol

I’m hoping by the time this post is up, I’ll have finished A Universe of Wishes anthology and can focus on Soulswift, but I’m not sure if I’ll have the time or energy to finish it before then. My head has been on fire with wedding plans and thinking of getting married, cleaning the house since we were celebrating all weekend, and also just sleeping all day because I’m so tired. I’m loving the anthology and I really want to push myself to finish it!

After reading a little bit of Soulswift, I’m liking it! I haven’t read much, so I don’t have a lot of thoughts on it yet. But, so far so good!
