Every time I do these wrap up posts, I feel like I barely read anything, but then I compile it together and I shock myself. This month I read 11 books, which is about the same as last month, although two of them were graphic novels so they weren’t as time consuming as the other longer or more wordy novels. I have linked all reviews for these books in the title, so if you’d like to see my thoughts, feel free to click the link and check them out!

I’m hoping to have a good reading month for August, especially since I have to focus on a lot of ARCs I received through NetGalley. While I wasn’t intentionally trying to do the ARC August Readathon (hosted by Octavia and Shelly @ Read. Sleep. Repeat.) I basically have only ARCs on my TBR that I need to read and review, so I guess I’m participating!
If you want to see what my August TBR is, check out my TBR post here.

Okay I keep hearing about Crave and initially it was all bad but now I’m seeing some reviews that say people really liked it and I’m kinda intrigued?? (Also I keep seeing it in the book section of Target and I’m tempted). I also have an arc of Splinters of Scarlet that I have to get to, I’m so happy to see that you enjoyed it! Hope you have a great reading month in August! xx

I personally loved Crave and so did my friends, but I’m a sucker for vampire novels lol And yeah, Splinters of Scarlet was so good! Let me know your thoughts once you get to it. And thanks – you too! 🙂

I’m one of those friends Sammy mentioned!
Crave is such a fun book, even with some of the second hand embarrassment! It kind of pokes fun at the whole Twilight era, and Grace (The MC) is fantastic and very much aware that her connection with Jaxon is like something out of a YA book (lol!).
Overall it’s just a really enjoying read and you won’t see the ending coming! I hope you buy it and enjoy it!

Yes, it’s so amazing! You should definitely read it, but fair warning, make sure to have the next two books available because you are gonna want to pick them up immediately!

Yes! I can attest to what Sammy said! I binged all three books, fell in love with them. They’re so good and so lush and vivid. There are some truly cinematic scenes and fantastic character arcs. I highly recommend reading them! The audiobooks are fantastic as well, if that’s something you like!
